About my Project

This is my Dad's 1958 Chevy Stepside 3100 series pickup. He's had it since he was a teenager and has kept it in great shape. The past 10 years or so have been hard on it though.. Its barely been driven and has sat in the back yard of my parents home in Colorado.

We decided it was time to breathe life back into old Thunder Pig. In the spring of 2009, my Dad and I set out to restore and modernize it. This blog is here to share our experience with our family and friends. We hope you enjoy the site, and leave comments often.
